Why We Are Adjusting Our Hosting Service Prices in 2026

At ShopWhizzy, we have always tried to keep our hosting services stable, predictable, and fairly priced for our clients.

For more than three consecutive years, we avoided increasing the monthly rates of our hosting services, even while operational expenses across the infrastructure industry continued to rise significantly.

In December 2025, after reviewing the market situation and our internal costs, we once again decided not to increase prices because we wanted to continue supporting our customers with the best possible value.

However, the situation in the global hosting and hardware market has changed considerably during the past months.

Across the industry, major infrastructure providers have already announced substantial pricing adjustments due to increasing hardware procurement costs, electricity prices, and operational expenses.

During 2026 alone, we have already faced two separate cost increases from our own suppliers and infrastructure partners — one in January and another in April.

These increases affected several critical areas of our operations, including:

  • Enterprise-grade NVMe and SSD storage hardware
  • Server memory (RAM)
  • Power and electricity consumption
  • Data center operational expenses
  • Infrastructure replacement and maintenance costs
  • Network and redundancy upgrades

Despite these increases, we absorbed a significant portion of the impact internally for as long as possible.

Over the last year, our operational expenses increased by more than 30%. However, instead of transferring the full impact to customers, we made the decision to limit our service price adjustments to approximately 15–18% across affected hosting services.

This adjustment allows us to continue providing:

  • Reliable infrastructure
  • Enterprise-grade hardware
  • Stable uptime and network performance
  • Fast support response times
  • Long-term sustainability of our hosting platform

Unlike some providers in the industry, we continue not to charge setup fees for our hosting services. Our goal remains to keep onboarding simple and transparent while maintaining the quality standards our clients expect from us.

We understand that pricing changes are never ideal. That is why we postponed adjustments for as long as realistically possible and chose a significantly lower increase than the actual rise in operational costs.

We sincerely appreciate the continued trust of all our clients and partners. Your support allows us to continue investing in better infrastructure, improved performance, and reliable services for the long term.
